Have been in Ballarat since the weekend and despite several bike rides around Lake Wendouree and three long walks around the CBD hadn't seen a single MX5 for 2 days (despite passing a variety of interesting soft top sports cars). Perseverence was rewarded 40 minutes ago when we passed a Malibu NA top down with what appeared to be original "daisy" wheels in Sturt Street prefix WUN - - -.

Oh... LOL! What time and where were you? Do you work in the area? I vaguely remember seeing a grey NC but can't remember if it was even today... it has been a long day... Agreed though, beautiful day for it..!

Saw a red SP in Lt Bourke St near Exhibition St last night. Had red number plate beginning with HO. Can't be too many of them around here. It also needed a wash!

A sorry sight. I saw a red NA6 :NA6:

Eunos Roadster at Auto Salvage in Cambellfield. It had been written off for water damage. While I could not see any evidence of much water damage except for a musty smel there was certainly damage caused by a crazy previous owner who in a fit of colour blindness painted the dash and door tops red and door lowers and centre console white. The body was reasonably straight, the engine was a bit smoky but started OK. It had a very good hard roof on it. The soft top from what I could tell in its folded state seemed OK. The car had AC but no power steering. They want silly money for it and have it on Ebay for $4500. I was considering offering him $1000 but he probably would have turned his pressure hose on me.

It was a very sad sight

like a beached dolphin that had been tortured.

Black NC top up headed east on Western Highway 20 klms east of Ballarat at 1245 hrs; and
Silver NB series 1 top up prefix SZD _ _ _ turning right at corner Mair Street and Midland Highway, Ballarat at 1330 hrs.
(latter spotted while on way to get new head unit fitted to daily driver....hands free bluetooth through stereo.....yeahhhh!)
