Lucky_Luke's: 2005 NC LE in Brilliant Black

Postby Lucky_Luke » Tue Jan 11, 2011 9:21 pm

Hi guys,
I just got my new ride! Picked it up last friday night.
After toying with the idea of SE's and several test drives I decided to purchase this really clean 2005 NC LE in Brilliant Black with 39,000kms on the clock.
First impressions are I love the drive and feel behind the wheel and it handles a damn sight better than my already high expectations.

I still have my 1990 NA6, but decided after nearly 8 years of owning this it was time for a change...
And after begging with my better half for some time, I now own 2. 8)

Love them bends!

Cheers,
L.

Going from a white car to a black car you'll certainly appreciate how easy it is to keep the white car clean.

You have a very understanding wife to let you have 2 MX5s ( she's "a keeper" :P )

Congrats!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Hear hear... I can't even get my better half to agree with a 'little' upgrade :?

Thanks guys. She's definitely a keeper... but it wasn't smooth sailing to say the least ... you should see the contract she drafted for me! My workmates reckon I'd get less for murder!
I think i'll be stuck doing weeding and dishes etc for the rest of my life ...

I did toss and turn about black but have always wanted one... there will defiintely be a colour shock to the system in keeping it clean!

I'm itching to do some mods but I've been given the stern word that I have to sell all my NA bits and pieces first to fund it so keep an eye out for some goodies!

My List of Wants :D (But more likely can't haves ... )

- Slimline Front Number Plate Bracket
- Eyelids
- Paint Brake Calipers Red
- I.L Clear indicators with chrome bezel
- I.L Centre Console replacement Storage Tray with 12V cigarette plug supply
(replaces useless centre twin cup holder)
- RB Power Pulse Muffler OR MX5plus exhaust OR Goodwin Muffler
- Mid Pipe with Pre silencer (Depends on growl/volume of Muffler)
- RB Cold Air Intake
- Lowering Springs? Just a smidge..
- 17" or 18" wheels
