Yeah I know! I remember noting that on my first day hahah. It's pretty gross looking and really cheap.

This is another car at uni... Yes, those are homemade stickers too

Just now, someone broke into my car while it was parked in my own driveway and went through it.... I found the car with the door open as I was leaving the house to go to uni. The glovebox was side open. It's odd though, they didn't take my gps or anything.

WHY DID THEY TAKE MY FREAKIN ASH TRAY????????

****EDIT****
They did a little more than just take my ashtray it seems, car won't even start now. I turn the ignition and hear CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK Thanks you for leaving my door open you bastard

Well I've been trying out the coilovers and I'm very impressed. Though I think I've hit a flat spot with the car right now.

Today I went out to pay the rego and there is a little S-bend along the way so I figured I'd try my luck through there with the new suspension. Bad idea. I embarrassed myself dreadfully...
as I hit the first corner, the wheels instantly let go no sooner than having loaded up. It was a bit of a shock for me as I was expecting a LOT more grip in that turn. The car flew sideways into the first turn and pendulum-ed back into the next. I'm going to add here that this did not in any way shape or form look cool. It felt noob as hell and It just made me feel like I didn't know how to drive.

I think I can attribute this to three things straight away: Not having fixed the rear heights properly and evening them both out, not realigning the wheels and lastly, not buying better tyres. Sounds like I know what I need to do.

The problem is I sort of can't... I quit my job and now after paying rego today i'm at a bit of a financial loss! I can't afford a wheel alignment until next week, don't have access to car stands until the weekend and probably won't be able to buy new tyres for some time sadly. So I think this is as far as the car is going for a while now. I do have tow hooks supposedly in the mail so I should be getting them in the next two weeks. But other than that, I think I need a new job asap.

Oh and a general question, has anyone tried to live in an mx5? Because I'm about to be homeless

Maybe you could put the roof down, then put a long sheet of chipboard on top, then set up a tent on top of the board

Well sadly I found you can do a lot of things in an mx5 but sleeping just isn't one of them...

Yeah... I wouldn't even think about pushing the car until you have it aligned, all of the settings will be massively and the car will be driving terribly. Be careful until you do get it fixed...

I've slept in my mx-5 twice... And I'm not short... Not the best nights sleep ever though.

But would he be able to unfold himself in the morning?
Stay bright Josh, stuff like this is only here to make us realise and appreciate how good it can be.
Greg.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?
