Opinions needed for replacement wiper colour
My blue NA is fairly cosmetically modified eg NB new interior, double din gps, mags, all new led lights, low pro headlights etc. A few years ago i bought some black racing wipers from MX5 Mania for $50 for the pair and then about a month after that they were stolen and i refused to dish out another $50 at the time so bought cheap ones that wouldnt get stolen but now i want to upgrade again and i was thinking about getting a blue pair because im assuming no one would steal them because they stand out too much but i have no idea if blue would look good or really really bad. The other option is to go with black and replace the actual blade with another coloured refill. Another thing is that ive got a custom purple number plates 'SB01LT' so i could also get purple blades.
Heres the link to the MX5 Mania ones http://www.mx5mania.com.au/product696.htm
My car really does reflect my personality and im a chick so i could even get away with hot pink lol but i dont want to buy something that looks crap so any opinions or photos of coloured wipers even would be really helpful.

Was never a fan of the coloured blades myself. A friend had a set of red one on his red Prelude, they went pink after about a month...
Just keep it simple with black IMO

OP is female
I've never had an issue with coloured blades. I vote black with blue blades.

No problem, whatever colour you want, i vote blue and black to match the car. As a guy you would cop it for these thats all.

Really? You realise you drive a hairdressers car just like everyone else here right Dann? You don't already cop flak for being hereto-sexually challenged?
I don't see how this is at all relevant to the original discussion though.

Re: Opinions needed for replacement wiper colour
I vote black on black.
Have you ever taken the wiper arms off completely? I have, and it looks awesome! But not so practical, or legal. I think wipers are one of those things that do their best work when they're invisible. Make them disappear (as much as possible) by fitting black ones. Any other colour will be more obvious, which I think has a negative effect on the aesthetic appeal of the car.
In a past life as an RS Liberty driver I once fitted colured silicon wiper blades, and they squeaked like hell. I tossed them after a week - too annoying.
That's my 2-cents worth.

Don't listen to the haters, it'll look good if done right i am sure. But having said that i will be changing mine soon fot the new "Flex" blades. They kinda look like a big licourice strap. They boast more even pressure distribution but i think thats just a marketing ploy. They do look cool tho..

Re: Opinions needed for replacement wiper colour
I was leaning towards plain black but just dont want them stolen again. Is there any any theft devices for windscreen wipers??? lol that sound seriously pathetic but heres hopeing.
Ive got anti theft everything else since the 'incident' eg motion sensor alarm and immoboliser as well as a tilt sensor, an electric antenna so noone can bend it or pull it off, rickbrook anti theft number plate screws and anti theft wheel nuts- yes for those thinking it, i agree, i did go overboard but i love my car and that reason enough especially considering its completely one of a kind

Fitted a set of these to my NA the other day (black on black) and they're great. Got rid of the horrible faded old blade holders, and they work great. I had no idea how worn my old ones were.

Re: Opinions needed for replacement wiper colour
I just went on the Tridon Website to look up the Flex blades and it says "Please refer to the Tridon Part Finder for the correct Tridon FlexBlade™ for your application." which i did but nothing comes up for Flex blade being suitable for NA
