Hey guys,
Time to replace some well worn 195/50/15s Yoko C-Drives rolling on the standard NB rims.
What are people recommending these days? Stick with C-Drives? Kumhos?
I'll admit to an aggressive driving style, so grip is more important than wear rate. Wet weather handling is important.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Matt

Hey Li7hium
This thread may help you out http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=45901&hilit=shortlist
I'm running Kumho KU31's and love them. Best tyre I've used in the wet by far. Not a track tyre, but price/performance, they're pretty good.
Have a read through that thread, and you'll see almost every question and answer you're looking for ;)
Thanks

This is my MX5. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My MX5, without me, is useless. Without my MX5, I am useless.

If you really want an Extreme Performance tyres and have the money to feed them, have a read HERE and HERELi7hium wrote:Time to replace some well worn 195/50/15s Yoko C-Drives rolling on the standard NB rims.

Extreme Performance tyres will generally last between 7K to 15K km depending on driving style and your luck, sometimes less.
They are a massive step up from the Yokohama C drives.

Re: Seeking recommendations for aggressive road tyres for NB
I am currently running Toyo R1R's. I got these because I wanted a tyre for the track and the road. If I wasn't going on the track I would do the same as Bob-KU31.
Cheers
