mixxie the sic little rabbit...supercharged nb

Postby mhj » Fri Sep 30, 2011 10:23 am

mixxie was purchased in late 98 and then dríven to the garage for modification
she got the simmons wheels . lowered. and the jrsc 45 was fitted and engineered
the guy then put it in the garage with the rest of the collection and proceeded to drive it 12k in ten years
the second owner put another 4 k on it....then i got the car in09 with 16k on the clock ( now at 60k )
as soon as i got it i added

whiteline front and rear sway bars
fm butterfly brace
twin hoop roll bar
carbon brake pads

380 cc injectors
small sc nose pulley
adaptronic ecu
upgrade radiator
2.5 inch high flow stainles zaust w xforce headers and the gorgeous FUJITSTUBO legalise muffler
and a torsion diff

times have changed and the money is tighteer but if i get my way she will get
cool seats
big brakes w braided lines
light fly wheel
short shift
nastier stereo
three point strut tower brace
coilovers

and one day..when she's old and grey
im going to put on a stroker kit /massive supercharger/port/rods etc etc .......right now she's a pretty sick little car.....140kw/380nm@rw....she will one day be fully sic maaate :)

So she's finally getting dríven, by the sound of it. That's good to hear. MX-5's were not designed to sit in a garage.

wow, good pick up! low km AND super charged!

it's good to see that this is finally being dríven and enjoyed as it was meant to be, instead of collecting dust

Nice car mate, beautiful condition. I would love to see it up close some day, with those figures the se drivers would be envious!

According to reliable sources, a three point brace would be a waste, the costs a lot higher than a two point and because of the way to cars set up with suspension the brace is wasted. The firewalls also kinda weak as an anchor point.

The modifying the front sways a top idea, for daily driving a bigger rear may suit your style of driving. I have heard of great advantages on the track with a larger (24mm) front bar and the stock rear sway bar.

Just some tips, glad your out driving the car. I have put 5k on my car in the last month!

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE TO THE FULLY SIC LITTLE RABBIT
Im going to part it out ( conservative apx is 6 k worth perfect and high quality parts at a good price...ie new theyre worth ALOT more!!!!!)
she is beautiful and has been loved and pampered
never ever tracked and maturely dríven...ie carefully
only 60 k on the clock!
$$$$25,ooo.00 to the keenest custodian:)
if you added all the parts up ( new price )youde be getting the extremely low km car for < $5000
for the right person it is a bargain!
please note ...no tyre kickers or low ballers or annoying people who whine about nothing in an endeavour to avoid theyre dream becoming real.
