Hey,
I am looking at purchasing some aftermarket rims.
I have a SP that I believe runs 270mm front rotors the car they are coming off has na8 front which are approx 255mm rotors. Am I just to calculate the 15mm it am I missing some significant issue.
Kinda confused, does the calipers just sit further out? By further I mean 15mm? Or is it larger also which would need more measurements. I only have a na6 and SP setup to measure.
Any imput good or bad is required, advice on measure points etc.
I'm under the impression our calipers are single pot.
Regards Hayden
Ps have checked posts, that is how I obtained the sizing details, but unsure on clarification on measurement points.

Your rear disks are larger than the fronts. I'd be checking the rears too

Thanks for the heads up, I did read something along those lines, really need to measure the whole lot. Anyone know the na8 brakes sizes.. rotors and calipers?

Re: Brake setup - clearance issues!
With NB8B brakes, the real issue is the front calipers. And it isn't just diameter, it is the frontal clearance against the face of the wheel.
Some 15" wheels fit, some don't. 16" or bigger and you are generally OK, subject to frontal clearance.

Re: Brake setup - clearance issues!
NA8 brakes are the same size as NB8A. As has been suggested, not all wheels are the same. I have a set of 15" rims that clear my SE brakes, yet other ppl have reported that they couldn't get 15"rims ove the bigger brakes. A little bit less offset is a big help, my rims are 15x7 +25's .
NA8 - BP4W IHI VJ35, 3.9 Torsen2, Adaptronic - SOLD
NB8A - mostly stock for now

Re: Brake setup - clearance issues!
thanks for the input guys, I currently have 15 inch track wheels, clearance is fine with them. Just trying to find the size difference from na8 to nb8b brakes i guess.
Calipers are an obvious issue also
