Seems Danny and I post around the same time!! after big gaps.
Update on Scooter.
Were do I start, finished building the new motor and had more head work done and finally put her on the dyno. Started pulling some good numbers then went further and after stuffing around with regulators was pulling hp figures just off the GP car and Millers car(same tuner same dyno). More than happy with that but we were running too close so backed it off. Fitted some bigger injectors, fitted a higher capacity fuel pump and back onto the dyno. Ended up down on what was available but with 5% over-fuel for the 1 hr at Morgan we were happy.
Then someone did what I asked them not to do and I ended up with a no go.
So I spat the dummy and put him up for sale. Lots of if onlys etc, then Nicky and Wendy asked me not to sell him and to do a rebuild.
I got in touch with Lou and purchased a NB motor and then Andy offer his motors up so I bought one off him too!!!!
Did a bolt down on Friday and dropped off roll bars and my old engine and bits and pieces, picked up the 2 engines and headed home. Nicky and I arrived back in Brissy Sunday, unloaded and stripped the NA motor.
So now I've got a block sitting on a stand, a head going off to the machine shop after I finish off the ports and chambers.I've ordered new valves, followers etc. The new rods etc arrived so their together with the pistons, and every thing is going down for a balance when I get some more mulla.
Working out the compression ratio at around 12.6 to 1, may need to drop that down a bit me thinks. So it will end up very close to the B6 build, Supertech 11 to 1 pistons, M Tech rods, ARP bolts everywhere, ACL bearings everywhere, gates belt, Bell Eng oil pump, head work and port matched manifold, bigger injectors, Toda flywheel and pretty pink clutch kit

Cams are a bit of mystery atm, gunna wait until we flow the head and fit the bigger valves then Roy can work out the best cam grind to do to suit this engine. Hoping to secure a set of Racing Beat headers that have been coated. Then once all of that is finished back on the dyno again. Now I need to save up my pennies, sell the NB motor and try and keep in good health ( less stress would probably help) and I've now learnt if your gunna lend your car
DON'T

So I'm running the NA motor so I can stay in 2F, if I want to I can go to 2B if I want to run slicks.
Quick question, WTF is the fuel reg on a NA8 fitted and is it normal that the fuel rail has bolt on fuel pipes or should it have slide on rubber lines?????
So now Scooter will see track time but maybe not as much as a race car more a track day special.
