Sunday spotted a very tidy NA hardtop on the way to the classic japanese car show in Fairfield. By coincidence the white NA was also heading there. Had a quick chat with the owner. Said he was thinking of parting ways with the beauty, keep a look out for that one. Lovely example.

Funnily enough I went to Classic Japan and spotted a fair few MX-5s.

Firstly I followed a white NA in off Heidelberg Road, but they parked in one of the first car parks on the right, so I assumed they weren't going for the show.
There was a NA with hard top in the car park closest to the oval where the show was.
Blue NA with rollbar and gold wheels was about to leave when I walked in.

Bet no one spotted me, I hid my car down past the golf club.

Red NA with what looked like an after market hard top heading east on Princes Highway near Fynn at 1636hrs this afternoon. Also appeared to have red personalised number plate. Anyone here?

I would of expected that a few MX-5 owners would have showed up. Good turnout of cars. Did you see that Subaru SVX in the parking area? I've always wondered about those.

There's always a list of upcoming events towards the back of the "small paper" lift out motoring guide on Friday; towards the back of Just World Cars mag each month and sometimes in the Age supplement on Thursday.

Don't know of a single source that captures all events, but as mentioned: Age (Thurs), RACV monthly mag, & following covers many but still not all:
http://www.shannons.com.au/events/
http://www.ccar.com.au/html/events.cfm
http://www.mx5club.com.au/event_calendar.php
