or do you mean turn 1? I noticed I backed off there too..hehe
:)

Ooooops, yep T1. Got ahead of myself.

I run (obviously) a six speed box. Down change into T10 is 4th direct to 2nd.
You need to be on the power for as long as you can, brake and match revs, back on full power as quickly as possible. You're loosing time going down through the gears. Similar system for the Fish Hook also.

Into T2, don't glide into the braking point by backing off at the apex of T1, full throttle to just before your turn finishes in T1. Hard on the brakes and turn in, then feed in the power. You will find this gives you about three car lengths on your current method.

Remind me to read this thread before Jan 29th CB! hahaha

after watching the vid several times now I can clearly see where I am waaaay too early on the brakes.
its like I think I am driving a car with big horsepower and im scared its not going to pull up (reminds me of my old R33)

If I can get over that feeling - hello 1.12's!

Exedy heavy duty clutch ordered,

a mate and I will be doing the instal at his workshop - Monarco Performance in Newcastle.
while doing that we'll also be doing the usual oil and fluid changes and wheel alignment.

then after that its getting my mates ECU and tuning it all prior to MRA round 1 in Jan next year....which is slowly creeping up!

which reminds me, AASA licence needs to be renewed doh!

She's low...looks nearly 2 inches lower than my car and I'm reaching full suspension travel through T3.

I'm 90kg and my car is 1050kg wet... so I really doubt either component is lighter

It was a funny fact I realised the other day... I removed my P/S which was about 16kg from memory but I've put on 30kg's in the last 3 years at the gym so I can handle no power steering for long races. I'd call that Math fail.....
