Good point.
Imagine the size of their inbox, could stretch to pages, I don't know. They might have to wade through a lot of spam. No idea.
Give them a follow up call.
Perhaps forward your email again, with an update asking how they are going with the request/questions.
I'm sure they will rush back to fix the mistake of not getting back to you.
David and Simone are really nice people in my opinion, if that's any help to whether or not you try to get back in contact with them.

I'll pass on a story from a friend who worked as financial controller for a large company before he retired.
People, he found, responded differently to how they were contacted.
Some of his staff were really responsive to phone calls, but not so great to email.
Others were best with a face to face talk.
Others were best at email.
It was a little strange to him, but to get the best from his staff, he worked out how each staff member responded best and acted appropriately.

Point; perhaps they are not best at email, perhaps something else is at play, but with a lot of communication in your life, if one way doesn't work, perhaps try another and see how you go.

Just another bit of advice with regard to the settings for street use after a week of driving on my set in an NA:

Raise the rear spring perches up approx 5mm on each side. I know this doesn't seem like much, but it is certainly enough in my case to keep the car off the bump stops at the rear on all but the biggest bumps - thus giving a much improved ride over the factory set up on the rears.

To go into detail, the coilovers have virtually no pre-load on the springs in the factory set up. I assume this is good for trackwork, but on the road I have noticed the bump stops are getting a pretty severe work out. By raising the spring perch a bit, and giving a little pre-load, there is now slightly more range of movement for suspension compression than extension - thereby keeping the car off the bump stops more.

Just don't overdo it. Too much pre load will not allow the wheel to drop sufficiently and the handling and ride will be dangerously affected, and don't touch the front perches. I know 5mm seems like bugger all, but it was enough in my case to transform the cars ride!

Hello, sorry about this mix up.. i have just sent you a PM..
Long story short - after recieving your PM i started an email to Yellowspeed to get some info on the questions asked but i must not have clicked send and it has been in my drafts folder since.. and the PM was buried with the rest of read messages.. i will be in touch with you shortly

Once again i apologise for the inconvenience.

On another note, as it is only Myself and Simone in the office most days there is sometimes a delay in responding to emails and PM's so if you need to get info or order something urgently just give us a buzz on 02 9482 3238.

Not to mention the exorbitant prices on most other items.
I just saved about $350 by buying r-package lip spoilers from the US instead of mania.

Hey Jace,

Great to see you support Australian Business! .. We pay rent, wages, website fees, phone & internet bills and so on to offer a friendly hassle free service to our customers and also offer installation services & hints + tips to those installing parts themself. Thats why we have mark up on products!

Just send us an email if you want to enquire if we can get a better price on some items.. with almost 2000 products listed on our website the prices are not always up to date, we are a small business and sometimes there is just not enough hours in the day or staff on the desk to adjust pricing to the rise and fall of the Australian Dollar.

In relation to the lip spoilers we do not have an account with R-Speed (to be honest they never bothered replying to us 2 years ago when we enquired about being a distributor for their items in Australia) so our front and rear lip spoilers are obtained from I.L Motorsport in Germany.

Kind Regards
Ajay

Ajay,

Don't get me wrong, there are certain items I will buy from you guys in the near future... but $800 for lip spoilers is the sort of price I would expect from a Mazda dealership's spare parts department.

Obviously you have a very solid market share and probably do a lot for the community, so ignore my comments and continue to price your items as you need to cover costs and then some.

After they started reading this thread, I got a few emails and PMs back. In the end, the communication again from MX5mania broke down. So I brought my Yellowspeed Pros from Wholesale Suspension today. They were able to quote me prices, spring rates etc via email, and I called them just to pay over the phone. It was a 48 hour process the started Monday lunch time. Still supporting Australian businesses that care.

Does anyone know how these Yellow Speed's compare to say the BC's or the HSD's? Trying to make a decision between them all is not easy.

All of the yellowspeed stuff has non height adjustable rears? That's pretty shocking isn't it? I would expect height and damper adjustable options on all fours if I were purchasing a coilover?
