Blurange MX5 from WA

Postby jdmx5 » Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:46 am

Hi all,

Bought this car stock back in oct last year. Slighty hail damage tho =[
Since I am the founder of a car club here in WA call JDMWA so the car has a bit too much stickers on it atm lol dont really like it but no choice of making it stand out and promote the club. Did nothing to chase power out of a 1.6L engine yet,did some handling parts of it and its turning out good round the corner..quite happy with that =] since i am new to the mx-5 world..need you guys to give me some suggestion of chasing slighty more power from it but in the same time wana keep it for daily. Superchraged?

Furture plan for the mx5: Hard top,Bride seats (two sitting at home but cant find the rail for it =[),cross bar half cage,6 puk and lighten flywheel, header and catback exh, respray to fix the hail damage but duno what colour tho wana keep the orange rims still -.-

P.S Since i am new to the forum,i have no idea how many WA mx5 owners are on here. If ur and ur reading this please give me a PM, should all cruise down to JDMWA stance show later this month =] thanks guys!!

Welcome!

I have seen your car for sale so have you changed you mind?

The local MX5 scene is very healthy, I think you just missed a coffee meet last week - see the Forum WA section and more importantly the club website (mx5club.com.au) for the latest in Motorsport events (see coming events on right side). I think there is an Autotest and a Sprint on very soon.

I am not sure how many will be suited to a stance gathering as the majority are heavy into motorsports and we already have 3 LSX V8 MX5s in the club built or being built! Several of us have turbocharged MX5s (including me) and also ITBs (Warwick and me again  ).

Anyway, welcome again to the forum - it is a mature (most of the time :P ) and informative site.

Les

Hi
We welcome all MX5 owners nothing is too outrageous or too sedate for us it would be good to see you come along to one of our events and see what our club is all about whether you just enjoy a good cruise or like to test your driving ability at our motorsport events we try and cater for all members.

Thats a funky looking NA, I like it!

Did you notice much of the difference with the Ultra racing products?

And what are the specs on the rotas?

I saw this near Murdoch a while back being followed by an equally funky looking Honda Jazz. I loved the Orange on Blue, very striking and works very well.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Good to see you on the forum. Was good to see your car a couple of meets ago. I would've been the only MX5 otherwise...
