Exactly, even something as fine as Talcum powder can do damage.

It would be a waster to have put all that money into having the engine built, only to have it suck up a heap of dust and sh*t itself on the first drive.

i dont think u read what i posted.. i said i have a proper intake made up for it. only put it on to see what it would look like. Like i said i dig it.. looks sick but ill be using the intake mostly.

update:
so over the weekend ive been doing a bit of wiring work. I removed dash, heater box and then started tucking the wiring i need in the engine bay.. driver side is pretty much done. WIll do passenger side next week

this is dragging out a lot more then i want but hopefully it will be fnished. Just wanna get out there and race

Did you tuck the fuse box aswell dude? I left mine in there and it looks kinda sh*t, but got so over doing it!

The passengers side was easier!

Yeah. Well I was gonna try and move the fuse box inside but it's just too much work now that the motor is in. Cbf an besides it only really takes up a corner

It might also be a bit easier on LHD model to tuck the fuse box into the passenger footwell. I know it is on s13s.

Whats the idea behind the window cowell?

update

so a few things have been happening.. i took my dash out for wiring and im now doing a custom dash. Thats at the trimmers tomorrow and will hopefully be done on friday

Also started on wiring. Drivers side is pretty much done. Looks very clean. Just waiting on finished cooler piping and the rest of the wiring.

Anyways today me and a mate decided to get the rear brakes, brake lines, ppf brace and driveshaft in

All went in to plan and i dropped it back on the wheels. Also fitted the custom centre caps to the wheels as meisters dont come with any. Pm me for details on this.

Also put my short shifter in aswell. Not long to go now. Monday next week im towing it to the workshop to do turbo lines, shorten fuel lines and a few other little things then its TUNEEEEE

awesome to the max. thinking a project g hard top spoiler would only add to the side view.

in all seriousness this is probably my fave 'baller' car in aus.

hats to the dedication and cash money spent thus far, good thing seem to come to those with vision and the balls to invest.
