Ocean rd is nice for taking the Mrs on a relaxed (slow) tour.
With the overpolicing and very low speed limits its not the same as it used to be 15+ yrs ago.
If you're in the Black spur and Mansfield areas you must check out the Eildon-Jamieson rd.
Recently sealed the entire way. Almost no traffic and over 50kms of tight twisty roads, 100km speed limit. Some nice views of the lake if you're into that sort of thing.
Only catch is its best done in the morning or on a cooler day, a couple of sections the sprayed on surface gets a bit "liquified" when too hot, 30+.
