I am sure A driver must not make a U-turn at an intersection with traffic lights unless there is a U-turn permitted sign at the intersection.

Agree. Of course, what I meant by "legal U-Turn" when I also noted that there's a sign saying "No U-turn" at those specific lights was that Vic should wait for the green arrow at the lights, then turn right, head down the road approx 20 metres, turn right into a driveway, reverse back approx 3 or 4 metres, then continue forward such that he's now driving in the opposite direction, head back up to the lights he just turned from, wait for the green light and then turn left so that he's now travelling the opposite direction that he was originally coming from on the original road.

But "legal U-turn" was a much easier way to say it and I was hoping Vic knew what I meant :mrgreen:

Vic,

Head over Tom Ugly's bridge (south) crossing into *gasp* The Shire

Stay in the right lane going over the bridge. Chuck a (legal) U-turn at the next lights before the pedestrian overpass (noting there's a sign at those lights saying it's illegal to chuck a U-turn at lights)

After chucking legal U-turn, head north back towards the bridge, staying in the right lane again Just before you get onto the bridge (on a left bend), there's a slip lane that goes down a hill off to the right, and goes underneath the bridge to the boat ramp and car parking area.

Could also turn left after bridge, follow road around block, end up at boat ramp from memory.

I'm planning to come along barring anything unexpected coming up. My brother may be along in his RX-7 but he had a slight issue on Sunday with his handbrake, a steep driveway and a fence so his car is a little scratched up at the moment.

Pretty keen to come! Although I see how I go tomorrow as work has been pretty busy due to easter coming... :roll:

Never been on a RNP run with you guys, what happens? Have burgers then go for a drive through the RNP obviously, but how far do you guys go? and is there any stops?

Usually head in from waterfall station, drive down to the T intersection turn right. Down over the sea bridge et .. have a break and chat then head back north. Nothing overly spectacular but the rnp is nice at night roof down howling under the trees esp when the moons out

wow looks like we are going to have a big meetup.

There is plenty of off street parking either out the front of the place or around the corner. Also with overflow down at the boat ramp under the bridges

Its an awesome photo spot between the bridges if you all bring your cameras

Never been to a meet before! Might think about coming.. Tyres are pretty flat out bald though so might pass for safety hahaha
