Not sure whether i will do this one yet.

Eastern Creek is 2 weeks later. I still need to make a few changes to the car to keep the CAMS scrutineers happy at Eastern Creek! :twisted:

I will see how we go though. Hopefully a few more cars will start coming back to these races

Thanks Col,

I appreciate the offer.

I think i may be able to fix the problem just by using a different seat. The initial measurements look promising, i just want to take some final measurement with the seat in the car before i buy it and fit it. The guys at sparco are going to let me try it in the car before I buy it.

Hopefully the fix is this simple, i which case i will be at Wakefield park. if we need to take a more drastic measure then i might be missing this round

If you need to lower the floor to get clearance, I've done it before based on something a guy named Malcolm has done in the UK. His build thread is here : http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php? ... 5768&st=40 That link should take you to the third page of the thread - the whole thing is worth a read in my opinion! About 3/4's of the way down the page, he shows what he has done for seat height amendments!!

with me, ive got an NA8 and it makes a whooping 75rwkw haha
Im usually at the back of the field but I love it, good bunch of people to race with!

I havent been around Wakefield for a few years now, but last time I was in a AH Sprite with a 1.8t Nissan motor and 9" slicks, and was doing 1:09s on what would now be the old circuit. I belive the fish hooks more one turn than two or three like back then. So I expect to be a lil rusty out there, but cant wait to get out there and see how I go.

My cars a NA6 with the 1.6 in it still. Coilovers, swaybars, NB?? brakes, brown davis rollbar, sparco sprint, nasty viscous diff and a hairdryer. apparently kicking out 150kw. running 15x8s but with some average rubber atm, looking to get some V70s before MRA.

I notice Moto is from the same area, and his road car is turbo too, maybe we should get a woodbine meetup cooking.

Hello,
My name is Matthew Morris Im Nick Cancians cousine.
For this round he'll be my pit crew lol instead of me being his i also crewed for david raddatz at the wakefield 300 and some prod sport rounds but now my turn to drive.
Ill be runing a mx5 NA model white. Its 1.8ltr pretty much stock, just exhaust, bilsteins on lowered springs ,swaybars, custom intake, khumo 8inch slicks, Wets if it rains, electric water pump. Motor is fresh just a stock rebuild. Run in on the dyno on friday just passed and made 93rwkw.
Havnt run at wakefield, done some karting in the past and some lap dashes a few years ago, some drifting at ec.
Looking forward to the weekend and start getting some laps under my belt. Tad nervous but itl all come back to me. Should be no#66.
