White NA with black hard top & rollbar southbound on the Gateway Bridge this morning, looked like white NSW plates, wasn't looking too closely as I was dodging trucks. I did beep on the way past though.

Red NB a the Airport Woolworths carpark this evening, pretty sure it belongs to the guy who works Sundays at the Nudgee Coles/Shell servo, and I have an idea who he is, but he's never on the counter when I'm in.

Immaculate white NA heading north M1 from BP Burpengary last Saturday, followed him out and then overtook heading towards Sunshine Coast, then I took 'Big Fish' offramp for Pumicstone Road - beautiful car with top up, me in silver NA top down

Had recent 'R' series rego plates and very nice alloys - one of the BEST NA's i've seen!!

I wish! Unfortunately it was a stretch to do the trip last year including the Nurburgring, so lacking a helmet, available days off and spare funds for the next few months, it'll have to stay on the list for a while... was worth the sacrifice though!

Yesterday:
Beautiful red NA (347-LPT) with twin white stripes and matching hardtop (not sure why that was on, yesterday was great top-down weather, matching hardtop looks great though).

I was coming home from Cannon Hill and saw it driving past so followed/stalked it along Lytton Road. I turned off down Thynne road and assumed he/she kept going to do the Bulimba Oxford Street "cruise".

Teal NB with very ndace Buddy Club wheels near Cairns; thanks yoda7356 for meeting us during our stay here and having us over!
That car is good looking and quite a almost-SP story!

I spotted another NB8B near Cairns Marketplace around 4.40PM tpday (almost at Bruce Hwy), a black NC at the Hilton Cairns this arvo, a red NB8B close to the lakes on Saturday around 2PM and a white NA6 hardtop (thanks for the wave back!) near the start of the twisties from Cairns to Kuranda, Saturday late-morning.

The Gillies Hwy, if not made for bikes, is made for MX5s, with nearly 500 major turns! Just ask a mx5cartalk local like John!

We used and abused a hire car on that road MANY times this trip and pity the tyres.

White NC between Palm Cove and Smithfield; red NB8B just north of Smithfield.

NOT Spotted! Amazing.
I spent 7 hours in the car last weekend travelling to and from Oakey via all the funnest roads I could remember. I can't believe I did not see a single MX all day. And it was a perfect day for driving too.

Saw a clutch of Elises at Mt Glorious cafe though.
