Realistically, any idea what the max usable rwkw figure is before you need to add weight in the boot?

Like most guys, I'm impressed by big numbers but I'm also not interested in wasting money on unusable power modz.

The fast boys in the states are running 400whp with no traction issues.

Also on 15 x 10 with 245 slicks. They do have a lot of other issues tracking with that power though.

hp is not the issue, torque is.

Not really, its all about engineering faults out of factory systems.

Heres the internal parts list for 350+whp on a BP

-Supertech forged pistons
-Spool rods
-ARP Rod Bolts
-ACL Race main, rod, and thrust bearings
-ARP head studs
-ARP main studs
-Modified oil pump

Then you need a GT2871 on a decent flowing manifold and a 3" exhaust, 2" intercooler piping and an ebay intercooler.

You need a clutch and 6 speed.

You need appropriate ducting and a proper 52mm radiator and a reroute.

You need upgraded ignition coils, like COPS.

You need 245 Nitto NT01s at 1000 a set and 15x9 6ul's at 1000 a set.

You need an ecu, such as megasquirt and tune.

You will want at least hawk blues, and good rotors.

There you go.

EDIT: Torque is an issue for early parts of the drivetrain, but not for traction.

Update:

So i have been wanting to get a garage vary rear bar for a long time. But the price to get it here is over $800 and it just seems very expensive. But i think i was speaking with a mate and we think it shouldnt be to hard to make.

So next week im picking up a spare rear bar and doing a big cut on it. Ill mount that up and then start work on the fins. Hopefully it shouldnt be to hard but we shall see.


for those who dont know

Also somehow my garage vary lip broke at some point and ive only just noticed it. So the plan is to sell the canards off and get some garage vary air deflectors for the front. I know there pretty expensive but it will cover up the broken piece in my lip (saving me $245 for that) then once i sell my canards ($150) it will only set me back a little bit.

This is what im talking about.


Ill adapt it to cover the flare to. Plus it will help with front end aero Thats all for now.

Air deflector, interesting didn't know it existed. So will this work with just a GV front lip? Any more pics of one mounted and colour matched to a car?

yeah it works with the garage vary lip. I just dont know whether to do it or not.. Ill leave it for now and see where i go.

Hey guys,

Figured id just show you whats been happening. This is the breather setup i have now. So 1x -10 line coming out of the valve cover to a catch can and draining back to the sump. This should solve my issue at the track now

Also a lot has been going through my mind with the exterior of the car, I was gonna do those air deflectors things but have since chosen otherwise.. Gonna probably get a new lip sooner or later. Might have to reinforce the ƒü¢k out of those corner areas as thats where mine keep breaking

Anyways, after a drive my wheels are usually caked in brake dust, Something thats been annoying me. Mainly because of the meisters have the polished lip and it wont take long to start getting ruined. So ive come up with a way to combat this. I had a mate do a photoshop of what i want to do.



So gonna powdercoat the meister full gloss black with red stickers and tire writing. Its a look that i wanted ages ago when i first got this car.

apparently powder coating is not good for strength - well on 6UL's anyway.

have you considered just painting them?
