What a wife!!! After completing the 1 hour race at Eastern Creek, my missus came up to me and said "I think you need to race at least each month from now on to get back to your old speed and passion"...

I'm such a lucky guy 8) 8) 8)

I will be there but as pit crew for my mate Troy who usually runs a commodore in supertt, who will be driving the tampered mx5 as seen in the 300.

Yeah it's the Ronke mobile, he hired the daewoo to do the 300, but it stopped with a mechanical failure so the he was offered a free hire of the mx5 for this round.

My cars not race ready yet, still need to sort out a kill switch and fit my bonnet pins. Plus one of my turbo lines is leaking a little and I don't particularly want a fire. The smoke coming from the bonnet vent after a short drive is bad but stabilises :| so its hibernating until I get to it.
When I realized I wasn't going to make it for this weekend, the fire went out a little and I didn't even drive the car for a fortnight and got my first flat battery
So lets go!

I crewed on that car for the Wakefield 300. PM me if you want some inside info on the car, but the headline would involve keeping any expectations well in check  .

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
