Re: BRASS MONKEY & MX5 RETURN RUN - 3 JUNE 2012
Guys, I'l going to have to step aside from this one tomorrow. Been out looking at mx5s with my brother all day today, don't think I can do another day of driving.

What an awesome day! Thanks to all the organizers ... And the top stayed down! Regie ... Thanks for the drive of your NC ... It revs so much smoother than my car and outhandles it easily... I'm not at all surprised now just how quick they go on the track... And the intake sounds wicked
methinks a white NC would work quite nicely ...

Great day. What a blast!
Fantastic to see the Mx5's do so well on the run to Bathurst.
I'll post up some pics shortly too and a lap of the track with the odd drift from Regie

Well done to everyone who put their hands up and had the balls to run the Brass Monkey in the rain.
Did not have my wipers on once from Eastern Creek to Bathurst (just love my Rain-X) on our sub two hour run with all the usual suspects. What time did the other marques get to the RSL
A special thanks to Villa, Zohxoco and Regie on their maiden lead out on a Club run. The Return Run was brilliant thanks to their efforts up front with no incidents involving the Hamx5ter and only good times to report.
I believe a friend of Kazman was driving the BMW punching above his weight and into the cement barrier on descent of Hartley Hill before the fixed speed camera. Driver is OK. The car is probably a write off. What can you tell us Keiren
For those like BadBong and yours truly spooked by the sudden appearance of Point to Point Average Speed Cameras on the charge into Bathurst
the RTA webpage states that these fiendish devices are being targeted at heavy vehicles.
I suppose we can all probably exhale and breathe a little easier.
Any more images from the happy snappers
The next BreakFast Club Run is the Wakefield Park Long Circuit on Sunday 15 July 2012. Zohxoco is leading the run and starting his thread for this event on the long weekend.

Midori, superbly executed return run ! Great roads, great organization and just a great run. The trip from Tarana in particular with the mix of blondish corners and crests was worth every minute.
Regie well done the photos are great and thanks for taking the time to organize the pre-meet !
