In rain and 'pea-soup' fog I finalised the run for 8 July this morning!! Several mountains and heaps of twisty roads, no bone shattering pot holes and incredible views [I think!!]
In a 6-speed Corolla I don't think I have ever changed gears so many times

Only one road that I wanted to use that had a little too much water over it!! Not worth the risk really
Sure, most of the roads have been used before, not sure in the manner I have put them together, so make sure the gear change arm is 100%

Yes, the fog was so thick visibility was at times down to 20m, maybe less! At one stage I was hitting max of 15-20kph and quite concerned what could be coming the other way, so many drivers who either can't find the headlight switch or simply don't care!!
Start will be Bunya Park off Old Northern Road, a couple of 'pit stops' for those that drank too many coffees before start time, a nice mountain morning tea location, another 'pit stop' and then lunch at mary Cairncross Park in Maleny [Sunshine Coast Hinterland]
From start to finish distance is approximately 135km
Feel free to PM me for further details as we get closer to the date
