So ever since my car has been back on the road ive been trying to figure out what i can do do monitor it (gauges etc). I orginally had the kg works cluster which in itself was an awesome piece but didnt really fit with the rest of the car.
I have a defi link display atm that displays my oil temp, pressure and water temp but its just to hard to look at when im more concentrated on other stuff at the track. Mainly because its only a small screen and it scrolls through but not very fast at all

So ive been thinking for a long time in getting a racepak dash and just have the one thing monitor everything but after going for a drive in a car with one i dont really like it.. its to bright and the digital tacho was hard to get use to in my opinion.

So to try and get something that will read out everything and have an analog tacho i found the STACK cluster. it will display speed, tacho, boost, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, voltage and also has a lap timer built in.. The beauty with this cluster is that its all standalone so makes it easy to install Also being able to display 4 readings at once and with a button to flick through makes it a lot easier and safer for me to know whats going on.

So the latest part to be making its way into the car is ....


Really happy with this i think it will make a great difference in the way i monitor the car.

Charlie, I agree completely that it's just not practical to observe all your gauges when they're scattered throughout the cabin, you really just want them all in front of you at the same time so you can keep your eyes on the road. Did you consider the PLX multi-display gauges?

The DM-100 (mounted in my car's original water temperature gauge) can display a single sensor (this sensor displayed can be selected via a remote control) or 4 sensor values at once in digital form (I typically just leave it in 4-sensor digital mode and display AFR, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature and Water Temperature).
The DM-6 gauge (mounted on my car's A-pillar) can only display one sensor at a time but you can manually toggle which one is displayed (I typically leave it on AFR).




Glare can be an issue with the roof down and the sun at your back - shouldn't worry you when your hard top is on.

Installing the gauges and sensor modules was a hassle but I think the PLX multi-gauges are brilliant.

Hey guys

Update from the track day today

Was awesome. So much fun. No issues with the car either so that was the biggest relief from it. Managed a 63.2 which is pretty decent i suppose.. the yellow LFA in my group did 61's so still more to go.

Car felt stable and never really felt loose apart from 2 times one where i spun

All in all a great day and there will be lots of photos and an in car vid coming

Sorry I didn't make it - wasn't 100% last night but GREAT job and no mean feat to do 63's at your first time there!! That's incredible!! I bet after Lakeside you will now think QR quite boring!! How was the adrenalin rush conimg down under the footbridge in 'Hungry'? Has to be one of the best corners in OZ

If you make it to Monday 23 July, you definately will be Group 1 and I'd say dependant on whether 'justabitrusty' is there, the fastest!! He done, I think it's a 1:02.85, standard engine NB but with all the right suspension tyres etc
