God I love the sound of that engine Charlie! 8) It's so grunty! :P

Congrats on your times at your first ever track day at Lakeside. Hoping to one day get on the track with you.

Cheers,
Danny

Great work by Jason helping you to get the car where you've wanted it. I'm stoked that the teething issues appear to have been fully sorted!

Cheers,
Danny

Paint job looks great in that last photo (roof needs to be Brilliant Black though to balance the black wheels and wing).

Danny

I see Charlie pumping out maybe sub 60's, Matt D has been the quickest MX5 on our Club track days and his best I think is 1:02.85 or thereabouts so can't wait to see Charlie and Matt same Group head to head!!

I've only seen Charlie's car evolving over maybe the last 12 months but every time I see it, simply LOVE it!! Sure is the 'BOSS' car!!

Totally agree Roger! :D

I don't want to Charlie to rush in his quest to get sub-60's at Lakeside....all in good time! He and the car certainly have that potential. 8)

Cheers,
Danny

Danny

Totally agree! Watching his in-car video he shows whilst quick he has great car control, is obviously thinking every corner out and he is CLEAN & TIDY! Just that one little twitch coming out of Karasel up the hill but geez, that can happen to anyone!! Love also his approach onto the main straight, that's the one corner that freaks me out and costs me 1-2 secs a lap! If I get right Charlie will lap me only once every 3 laps!! He seems to have got it right first time out :!:

Great job Jason and your team have done on this car Danny, a great advertisement indeed

This car has really evolved well after its initial "hard parking" phase. I'm glad you persevered with it Charlie (and grew out of that phase) because it's really become a great car which most of us look forward to seeing on the track. It's always great to see an MX5 blowing away "mightier" cars on the track (and the faces of those that have just been "owned" by "a hairdresser's car").

Moment has come.. Exhaust is done. :D :D :D Big thanks to Nathan @ Fabuous Fabrications. He did an awesome job once again and made a dream a reality.

Before i post pics.. A lot of you will ask why.. Why not? I like the little things about cars that make them unique and the fact that its one off is what makes me happy.

Plus it sounds farking badass. Here we go !!
