What sort of clutch did you end up getting? What's the light flywheel like in traffic?

Re: Joe's NA6
Fun day out at the MGCCC MotorKhana today. Mostly happy with my times from what I'd gleamed from other people, will have to wait for final results to know for sure though.
Only picture I have so far but videos are uploading now.

In general though, more people need to do motorkhanas. Every time I do one I fall in love again.

Neil Bates prepped Altezza normally run by the family itself. Former Targa Tasmania car.
They've run it for quite some time now but it sounded significantly angrier than usual this weekend.

Re: Joe's NA6
Club day at Wakefield on the 4th.
My housemate joined us for the day before discovering that his car was leaking oil, so I decided to double enter mine. I haven't ever done that before, so that was interesting. Practically no down time throughout the day and you use a lot more fuel.
The forecast had me expecting showers but luckily the day stayed cool and dry. I was really happy with how the car seemed right from the first session and apparently rightly so as I managed to equal my PB on the last lap. Next session then saw me drop half a second down to 1:14.9, then down to 1:14.2 in the third. Very happy obviously.
I had one run after lunch and as soon as I came off the track I knew something was wrong. Sounded just like a worn out brake pad but I figured that couldn't have been the case as these pads had only done the natmeet track day and a motorkhana. Unfortunately, when I've pulled the front right apart, this is what I was greeted with.

The outer edge of the outer pad was completely gone. Understandably that was the end of the day for both of us, so we packed up and headed home.
All in all though, was still a good day. Well into the 14's was significantly better than what I was aiming for and the people around were as awesome as they always are. Bryan let me borrow his PerformanceBox for the fourth session which was good fun. He's given me the data which I'm part way through. It's amazing how much it shows you.

New pads + 6 point harness have arrived.
Ok, so they actually arrived last Thursday but I'm well sick and haven't had the chance to touch them yet.

We both have CAMS licences as of this week, you may see us at a motorkhana some time later in the year

Nope to both sorry.
On the plus side though, car is washed and fueled ahead of a trip up to Sydney on Saturday. Should be a good day.
