Thanks to everyone that came along today, 22 cars and so many steep twisting and winding roads!! So nice to hear the positive comments on the run and how everyone loved the roads I used :wink:

Special thanks to JBT & Mrs JBT, Peter & Brenda & Kev05 for running group leads and tail-end Charlies, well done all

Also HUGE thanks to the Sunshine Coast members that came along for the run - great to meet you all!! Further special thanks to Sarah from Mary Cairncross Park Cafe being able to have her staff serve everyone within 15-20 mins at most! Well done Sarah and thanks for the special parking allocated for the MX5's!! Certainly turned a few heads from the Park customers!!

Nice to meet Deborah [Mrs Car53], damn I love that red NC!!

Picked a great stopover in Dayboro!! Southerners wouldn't believe how quaint and large that pub is!! I guess you and Mrs MINX are running todays run in reverse going home!! I took Steve Irwin Way then off at Beerburrum and down thru Elimbah to Caboolture then Bribie Road - watching V8's now

Hey guys the comments today were so nice and positive they can pencil me down for another in 2013!!

Great run Roger.

We arrived home just after 3:00pm after a refuel - just over 7 km/l. We came back via the Stanley River Rd and Peachester. Got stuck behind a "safety car" for the first 15km :evil:

but had a great, roadblock-free run through the Peachester twisties.

Don't miss the QM Falls run on 9 September folks. :wink:

Hence I went the long way via Steve Irwin way. It was smooth sailing all the way, less scenic but less frustration.

I had a 60kph all the way along Steve Irwin Way, and he also turned off at Beerburrum, at least an MX5 in 3rd can get aorund a Commodore pretty easy!! - only to go maybe a km and come up behind a 'L' driver!

JBT that Peachester to Beerwah run is short but those curves!! Were the traffic lights still there at the landslip?

FTR I used 1/4 of a tank all day!! over 220km for me
