Re: charlie's na6
Haha, Nah these meets are awesome. I have rocked up in my car a few times - people even have taken photos of it - and it's epic boring!
It's a good vibe and you get to see some mad cars.
Plus there is a thread for this event... So maybe the discussion should be moved there

Update
So i went and picked up my boot lid from Mayne Paint and Panel in Newmarket and was so happy to see it complete. They did a phenomenal job on the paint and repairs. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Went straight down and fitted it up

Very happy with the results even though its not what i first had hoped for
Updates and better pics over the weekend when i get the car running with the Stack Dash

Update:
So finally got to drive my car for the first time in weeks. Man its a good feeling. Car seems to run smoother with the new harness as well. Massive thanks to the boys at Automotive Plus for making that up for me.
Woke up bright and early saturday morning to get a few things done. Gave it a well deserved wash

Then drove it over to get a wheel alignment later that day. Funniest thing seeing the wheel alignment guys try to get out of the car

Still a few things to work out with the stack dash but i can say that im very happy with it. Extremely cool.

Tacho is now wired up and working on a few of the other features to.

Hey,
You still running 6-speed and 4.3 diff? Any complaints? Trying to figure out if I should get 6-speed 4.3 diff or a 4.6/4.7 diff.

Re: charlie's na6
I'd like to hear what you thought about 6-speed with 4.3 as well man... I'd have thought the 5-speed would be a better ratio.
This car keeps getting better Charlie, after my absence for a bit from reading the forum has been great to see that you've gotten into the fun stuff of driving it at last after all the work!
Might be able to visit one of those meets in Rocklea one day since I stay near there when I'm down.

Re: charlie's na6
Hey dudes.
Yeah I have a 4.3 and 6 speed. I don't mind it tbh. It is very short but that's not really a bad thing. However I would like to drop diff ratios to 4.1 in the future but that's not a rushed thing.
If I were you John I got 4.7 or something especially with ur n/a build

Re: charlie's na6
I love the boot, I think you made a smart choice colour matching it. It would actually support your wings aero!
I wonder how much weight is saved over OEM boot. Did you notice much?

Re: charlie's na6
yeah well the plan is to only have that boot on when the wing isnt on.. but i wanted to put them both on for an upcoming fast fours shoot. There is a difference in the weight of it but i didnt weigh them or anything

Re: charlie's na6
Charlie are you generating enough downforce at the front to compensate for the downforce on the rear?

There's probably a little more in the rear ATM. I'm waiting on some splitter brackets being made up in the states atm

Charlie is your dash a logging dash or display only? If not do you have any plans for data logging?
