I was following a silver NB8B from Toowong to Kenmore on the way to the in laws. The driver looked to be having fun through the round abouts.

That's what you do with those things don't you? Slow down to judge the clearances, accelerate as much as possible and take the most extreme trajectory you can at the highest possible speed (under the posted limit of course, which is fairly easy considering it's a round about).

If not, I'm doing something wrong, but it's far too much fun to stop.

If you take the right roads, the drive from Toowong to Kenmore and out to Bellbowrie/Moggill way is super fun. :D
Lots of those windy bits to eat up. Kenmore roundabout can sometimes be a bit of a deathtrap though.

Spotted a silver NB driving down the Centenary Motorway around 0610ish.
Can't remember the rego...however it was Tasmanian?! :o
Maybe we should call the Tassie Five club and see if anyone got lost on their last drive? :P
Glances exchanged, no waves.

Numberplate is xxx GCV.

Sorry Jules, but turns out it's a Malibu Edition with a new roof, I saw your car at the inaugural dodgy day with Michelle & Derek when we were changing Michelle's engine over way back when - this one isn't as good as yours. (I didn't own an MX5 then, but as I recall that was the first time the Unicorn made an appearance when Terry arrived in it).

A surprising number of MX5's at the Plaza when I'm in the daily (the SP23) - I'll be in my car tomorrow, so Murphy's law says I'll see none!

Wow that's two in the area then. Mine has a new SE roof these days too :-)

Three NCs between 11:10 and 11:30 am today. Two heading west on Samford Rd at Gaythorne and one stuck in traffic heading north on Boundary Rd (outside Government House) in Rainworth.

I got my first wave today!

Not sure who it was, didn't manage to grab a rego (we were both going around 110kph, opposite directions)
It was an NB, silver/grey if I remember correctly, with the top down. I threw my hand out in my usual peace sign and in the rear view mirror I saw his arm flailing about in response. :)

I believe it was on Beaudesert-Nerang Rd, just past Canungra. I was having too much fun to figure out where I was :)

It was before midday. Possibly around the 11 o'clock mark. :)

Also got followed home by a nice man in a black Peugeot 306 Cabriolet. He stuck with us on the motorway for about 40 minutes, probably cause I kept taking photos of him, but gave us a friendly wave as we took our exit.

It's good to know there are still genuine, nice motorists on the roads :)
