Did not get pics of Nigel or Neil and they were in the queue right in front of me. But here's some of Berenice's MX and a distant Bill, with a very neat NA6.
We had 5 MXs in Marque Sports up to 1600cc, and two turbos. 10% of the field almost.
PBs on the day to myself, Grant and Nigel, who did a blistering 50.41 on his 7th run, and then went sub 50 at 49.67, leaving daylight to the rest of the 1.6 crew. Next best was 53.61. That's a lot of daylight.

Spotted a dark green NB with top up on Springfield Parkway about 11.45, then another dark green NB with top up next to Toowong Cemetary about 12.15, then a red NA hardtop north bound on Centenary Highway at about 3.00 pm. I was in my work ute.

Just spotted (1657hrs) a silver NA cruising down Charlotte St, CBD.
Top down, enjoying the breeze.

CCTV too blurry for Rego.

Spotted Pumicstone Road, Emilbah [near Caboolture] silver NB8B with 'Candy' across the rear bumper!!

They waved and I waved back! :wink:

Today at Lockrose Historic Museum.
1 silver NC and 1 blue NA8 (me!).
1 prototype MX5 (in the form of Jeff's gorgeous Lotus Elan roadster).

And something I have never seen before. A 1966 Lamborghini Superleggera 350GT (or more probably a 400GT). Stunning, even with f***ed paint, and even if it is some strange amalgam of Karman Ghia + Jag + 911 + Stingray + Triumph (or is it Prince?). Crappy phone pics follow.

Followed Timmeh's silver NA down Springfield parkway at about 12.00. Then saw a dark NB on the same road, & a dark coloured NC with top down parked under Orion shops.

Not the FWD. I was 3 cars behind in my NA. I tried to catch up but you turned towards the lake & I headed to Orion.

Spotted two MX5 today.

1) At 1.30pm today, red NA top up, stop at lights Makerston Street (CBD) waiting to turn left. I was in the work van.

2) At 4.00pm today, Red NB top up (possibly an SE), turning right from Balaclava Street onto Ipswich Road in Woolloongabba.

The missus spotted a Silver NC (she thinks) in riverhills around 1400hrs when she was dropping her little brother off at a Birthday party. She was nice enough to grab "888" from the numberplate for me

I think I spotted a Blue NC along Charlotte St around 1100ish. Pulled over for a minute then took off again before I could get out the front and have a look. Due to glare on the cameras, I couldn't even confirm it.
