Also when I push it hard round a corner I get another clunk sound , at first I thought it was the tools moving in the jack well , but they are now wrapped and secured and it still does it.
I'm not sure if they are related,
Any ideas anyone?

Just curious, how did you confirm or check it? I've got a clunk, clunk but believe it is the exhaust, but would like to rule out bearings - they seem tight with no movement, but my weak girly arms ain't applying much force compared to a 1 ton car cornering hard..... !! G
