Badbong there is a desk on the ground floor where the officials on the day will probably be gathering - alternatively there is another officials room on the second floor of the control room (the observation room). Should be club officials there from 7.30 but Mike has said helpers to be there for briefing at 8.30.

The south circuit control tower is the first building on the right after entering through gate 7.

Victor, did you manage to talk to Mike at the AGM last night? If not, give him a call on the number shown previously and let him know you're keen to help. He already has 20-odd volunteers but the more the merrier.

Flag points are a great spot to take photos from too. :wink:

All attendees need to enter at Gate 7 off Ferrers Road on the southern end of the track. When you get to the end of this road (~200m), you need to turn LEFT at a watch office and possibly need to sign in. If you go straight ahead, you'll enter the drag strip ... wrong place! Once through that last gate, the south circuit is the first building on the right. All visitors, helpers and officials need to park on the grassy hill opposite to the left. There will be someone there to direct traffic.

what a great time we had ! Car of the day would be a certain black Mazda 2 which was out there hassling MX5s. bought for a song, watching it was bloody brilliant !
Talk about bang for your buck!

I will never look at a shopping trolley the same way again. That car was hilarious to watch and it was dríven like Mazda never intended.... 5 stars.

Great day, great circuit! Thanks to all of the officials and other volunteers for running the day.

Really good to see a lot of spectators as well. Hope there's some great photos to share. I've got a few I'll try and put up during the week.

Without a doubt a fantastic day, even if I was driving like a granny. Chris and his team's Mazda 2 effort showed many of us what can be done with the power between the ears rather than under the bonnet, my day was a massive fail !!

Looking forward to the photos, there were some guys there with some good gear so lets see what they came up with.....

also a BIG thank you to all that manned the flag points and the timing crew Great job guys, couldn't have been safe without you.

I had an absolutely ball today! Thanks to everyone who organised the event, Officials, scrutineers, volunteers at flag points, timing crew, everything went absolutely smoothly!

Again (as per our last meeting at Wakefield), my photographer mate came to the event and left me with over 1,200 photos of most of the cars on track, if not all. From a quick look, I can tell he is getting very good at this. I'm still sorting the pics, but i should be ready to post them tomorrow. As we did last time, just send me the car number and I'll be happy to post the pics here.

That was the greatest experience I've had in my toy so far! Looking forward to the next event.

I was the only first timer there today. So I'd like to thank everyone who came and said hello and asked how I went. Also want to thank Matilda who took me out on the track and showed me the ropes. I got some great footage. I might upload them to youtube and link them somewhere.

Another great MX-5 day - Thanks everyone

Who wouda though wheel spin in 3rd gear would have been a problem with only 65kw atw, but there was lots of it around that twisty little track.
any pics- Red NA #56 ?
