Thanks guys for the great pics!! Damn I like that last one of the '2' !!!

Looks like I'm going to have to make a long drive south to try SMP out one day!! So glad you guys had so much fun and from the tone of the posts here, the friendship that exists amongst you all down south will ensure your track daays can only get better!

Keep up the excellent work!

Niiiiice!!!

Pity they can't capture the skipping action of the rear wheels at the last turn (left hander) before the main straight. 8)

Nick was saying at the AGM that you two managed to screw 183/185kph out of the little 2's on the return trip
From this photo looks like you may have remembered to taken the spare wheel and tools out of the boot, not like at Wakefield where you scared the Nissan boys

I want to see you drive the green one, it's your colour

OK, so now that this one is out of the way, what is the general thought on having more club track days on the SMSP south circuit? Mike's plan is to have 2-3 rounds on the south circuit and 3-4 at Wakefield Park. Is this the right mix? What do you think?

Picked up my NA from a service today at MX5 Plus Brisbane, heading home up the M1 and what goes past? A black Mazda 2!!

Sorry, no matter how hard I looked it had all four on the black stuff!! :(

Couldn't resist logging in at MX5 Plus and showing the guys the pics!! :D

Bryan, regarding next year's club days:

I think sharing across WP and EC..sorry SMSP is the right way to go, wit the spread of people around Sydney.

South Circuit is crazy fun, but can we throw North circuit into the rotation too? I am guessing full circuit would be too expensive.

My two bob.... :)

Bryan

In the absence of any other opportuntities I think Mike's mix is right.

However another thought - Perhaps over a year we could have a triple challenge - 1 day at south, 1 day at North and 1 day at full circuit. Oh yeh!!!!

Bryan,
After this event SMP South has proven to be a great track for our MX5s, but most importantly, it is a lot closer to most of us (if not all) and the track day happened on Saturday (not sure if that's going to be the standard), which made this event a lot more convenient not only to us but also to family members and mates came to watch and support. I reckon half half would be a good mix.
