I'll claim a lap record for modified NA8C on the North circuit. 1:20.291 at the SS round on the 28th. I know it's a crap time but I offer mitigating circumstances of a collapsed gearbox centre bearing, no synchro in 2nd and 3rd and running on 3 1/2 cylinders with no fuel above 6500.

Excuses, excuses I'll have a look on Monday.

Phil, last night at the presentation, there was mention that the North Circuit has been renamed to "Druitt Circuit". Checking Wikipedia this morning, I see that ARDC have come up with new names for all four layouts:

Extended = Brabham Circuit
Grand Prix (original layout) = Gardner Circuit
North = Druitt Circuit
South = Amaroo Circuit

Druitt and Amaroo are obviously named after the old Mt Druitt and Amaroo Park race tracks.

Yes Chris, you'd likely be placed in Class 6 at our club trackdays - although you'd also need to ensure you comply with Type 2 regulations for Supersprints. With those times, you'd cream the field. In which case, after a season or two, you might get yourself "promoted" to Class 9 with the "race cars" and find yourself mid-field. You'll still have enormous fun either way. Come and play with us!

As Bryan said above except if you run slicks, then you'd be in Class 10.

I'd expect that you wouldn't be in Class 6 for very long as there's too much of a gap between your times and the next quickest, so you'd need to be ready to come and play with Steve, Ralph and myself.
