Hi Charlie B
Re what 'changed' I meant has Ralph bolted on a turbo / rerego'd his car hence the class bump. One competitive group you guys are in. Looks like you guys weren't too far off your pbs out there!
And one turbo was obviously coping with the conditions. A 1.07 is a quick time!

I meant has Ralph bolted on a turbo / rerego'd his car hence the class bump.

As mentioned above, the regular front runners have been bumped to class 9 to give others an opportunity. They are to good ;)

Ralphs car has no turbo and is registered.

I think Simon will be doing 1:05's in no time. The car is a weapon and the conditions didn't favour him.

We both dealt with Patrick. Turbos just don't perform in the heat no matter how high you turn the wick up.

Patrick was having boost problems. Apparently it was a case of either unlimited boost or bugger-all boost. He gave it a miss in the end and left early. :frown:

LOL, now all they need to do, is have a video with eating a hamburger in the 2 while racing.

That video is fantastic, and captures the fun of Project Mazda 2 very well.

In days gone by at a 3-ring circus, I'm not sure if Chris would have been the ringmaster, or one of the clowns!
Either way, it would have been fun to watch.

Managed to have pretty much the same off in the same spot as Chris on Dec 2. Alex (share driver) went off big time as well earlier on T2. Net result the off side rear alloy is moderately buckled - still quite driveable but inner rim is buckled and slight overall twist in wheel. Took it in for repair today. Would rather buy a newie but supplier is out of stock in our size so, repair it is.
