MX-5 Club Track Day - Wakefield Park - 20th January 2012

The first MX-5 Club of NSW track day for 2013 will be held at Wakefield Park on 20th January. Entry forms and Regulations are on the club website. An Earlybird rate is available to MEMBERS ONLY of $140 – payment must be received no later than Monday 6th January 2013. Non-members are welcome to enter with a $160 entry fee, provided they've not participated in an MX-5 Club track day already. Note that Mike is capping entries for this one at 70 plus 5 reserves, ie 10 less than other recent rounds. So get your entry in ASAP or prepare to be disappointed.

WTF. Thanks for the heads up. Just entered. with the two part system, does confirmation only come once payment clears? Curious.

You should get an automatic email confirmation when you've registered (part 1) and an email from Zan when she's got your payment details (part 2).

Has there been any more word about the mounting of cameras/timers for this event after the issue at the last meet? It'd be great if we can have clarification before the day.

I've discussed it with Mike and yes everyone will receive clarification of requirements well before the event. Suffice to say that what happened at the last one will not happen again.

Part way through the second run no suction cup mounts were allowed and nothing mounted on the windscreen (including etags!)

Mike has confirmed via email that he will be circulating a note in the near future re cameras and GPS units in cars. In a nutshell, suction cups and other camera mounts will be accepted and need to be fitted prior to scrutineering, and you should arrange some sort of secondary restraint in case they come loose. Simple and sensible.

We're running a bit behind with the membership cards since we have bought a proper card printer and now playing catch-up. The new cards should be received by everyone by 18th Jan. If not, the ladies will have a list of financial members to cross-check.
