Chris, yeah i really enjoyed watching the MX5s and the Super Sedans.
Made me wish i had a MX5 to be able to get out there and have some fun.
Trying to convince the lil bro to get his NA6 out there.

Hey,

Was an awsome weekend, and great to catch up with everyone there once again!!

Its great to go racing with people whom all get along!.
I Went really well,qualified 9th outright in super tt and overall came 3rd in super tt class A, and 1st in mx5s 2f. The first tt race i got hammered a bit, turn one incident and a pulsar at the top of the hill :/ damage was minor and kept going. (spewing i didnt put the go pro in!!.) Also achieved my goal of 1.10's by getting a best lap of 1.10.5.
Im a very happy boy atm and cant wait for the next one.

Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as me!

I had a great day myself running the Deckspeed car in the MX5s while Dad ran in the TT's, ended up 2nd outright in the MX5s, unfortunately because Rob Hay didnt run in the trophy race. I've never run at wakefield park before so I was pretty happy to walk away with a best lap of 1:07:9 when the track was fastest in the middle of the day, seems like theres a fair bit more speed to get out of the car from there too!!!

Good show guys! Some great battles, and good show to dweezle in reg!
Sitting up at turn 1, I was thinking something bad is going to happen to this Renault as the front tyre tucked itself so far under the car I thought it was going to pop off the rim! Glad my thoughts weren't warranted, very consistent Driving bud! Didn't know it was you or I would have come and said g'day!
The other highlight was watching motomenace in the super tt, had some great battles with some very varied competitors! Great attack and defense! What door to door is all about!

The two deck speed NCs looked great! That blue one inspired me to go and buy some lottery tickets on the way home!

How nice was that Mustang sports sedan! :shock:

, they are definitely a fairly refined car to drive at a decent pace, I have in car footage from the race that we went quickest and although you cant see the circuit because the camera was mounted too low there is a full view of me driving the car and its evidently extremely smooth to drive with little attitude and my shoulders are relaxed and not moving the whole time.

HAHA, Well SmokinScotty here is some incar footage showing how awful my FWD technique is. :oops:

It is quite embarrassing, i need much more seat time!!
I just could not get myself sorted in it.
I will get there though.

(PS- any tips on what i am doing wrong please please please tear me apart)

Congrats! Great to see that Steve Green had a go at MRA - he's been doing club track days and supersprints for years. It looks like he was the quickest 2F MX-5 in qualifying and won races 1 and 2. Can't see any results for the MX-5 trophy race on Natsoft. Did Steve skip the trophy race or did you manage to beat him?

for some reason natsoft isnt showing it, but Matt won the trophy, Steve, then me.

Steve loved it, I have convinced him to do round 2 and to bring some more club members hehe
