I am hoping to make it to this one, I still have a few things to get done on the car before then though. With any luck the weather will clear up, I won't be taking mine out if it's wet, it's scary enough in the dry.

Matt, could you please take the road tyres instead of the semis, it just might stay dry if you are ready for a wet run!

No problem with that, just make sure you have the CTP organised if not already done .. unless the car is unregistered, then not required of course!!

No need to bend it.
You just drive to your own comfort level. No one there will pressure you to go faster at all.
Much more funner driving spiritedly on the track when you know there there are no kids, bicycles, cars coming the other way, or Blue flashing lights. Give it a go

It will depend on how the day has run until that point, QR staff permission, continued availability of paramedic, who will be available to supervise it and a decision by the Competition Sec.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR TRACK DAY 18 MARCH

I have just spoken with Ross, our Merchandising Officer and to 6.45pm tonight there are 35 paid up entries and I know of at least another 4-5 who will be attending - you CAN still pay on the day if that's your choice, please try and have the correct money with you

All looking good and many thanks for the huge interest this day is attracting!! Should we break the 50 entries, Im sure the Committee will be looking at rewarding us with more FULL days!!

If anyone has ANY questions, things they are unsure of, please make a post and someone will get back to you on this site

Leave home around 6.30am, coffee at the BP Southbound as such a long trip for me of 37km!! I think to save time I will attach the numbers the day before to save time

Roger, my prep's done.......
New Enkeis with R888's fitted up, just need to take the inner plastic guards out, or more correctly one bolt as there is the slightest rub as I go through one of my test corners for the front tyres at full compression.

Number is easy, 2 seconds to fit as I had magnetic numbers made up when I was using my ZG Fairlane at hillclimbs and regularity at the HRCC meetings at QR.

I might even give it a wash on the sunday before if the weather is OK.
