More the merrier, come along and we'll keep additional spaces open on an informal basis for the meantime and see how we go time-wise with those booked in.

If we have three buffers (4?) if I'm reading correctly, we should be able to get through one car in quite a short space of time I reckon!

For those who've piped up since Friday, please do come along, would be great to have you along. 8)

Assume you take the original six and add after that, I know mine doesn't need too much! I have the polish I prefer, did part of the nose yesterday, also think I have touch-up but have to test as I cant remember if I got it for the NB or the NA!!

Just have to fo to SuperCheap and get a few applicator pads for the polish

Are you up for another coffee stop before the detail?

Might go down to the one at Morayfield when I get off the train tomorrow or Wednesday rather than cut it fine Saturday Kev, but still try for coffee 7.00am to 7.30 max Saturday, be gone then in case roads choked as usual!

Hey everyone, bit of a bad news from this end...

My 5 just wouldn't start this morning. I thought it might have been a flat battery so I left it to trickle charge and I got a ride from a mate to class.

Just got home a few hours ago and had another try right away. It still wouldnt start. So I pushed her out of the garage to get jump started from another car and I saw oil droplets on the floor underneath the engine... :frown:

Hooked up the jumping cables to another car, no luck again.

I can hear the starter motor working but the engine just wouldn't "catch on". It sounds just like when I try to start her up normally but just without any engine sound even after holding the key in ignition for a few seconds.

Last time I had dríven the car was two days ago on Monday. And it felt fine didn't see anything weird.

I had booking to drop my car off to Jason at MX5 plus for servicing too...

I'm kinda lost at the moment. Reading up the MX5 workshop manual now to see if I can find anything that I can do to help.

Any pointers? :(

If there are any other 5s waiting in line for a spot at the moment it seems like I'll have to give mine up...

Bummer sheeeep, have you got RAC membership? :frown:

On another note I gave my 5 a wash today in preparation for the 18th:

There's a few places I'm specifically after advise for detailing wise.

Cheers

No I do not yet :(

Hypothetically speaking, my car can have a break down 5 minutes after I sign up right??

I'll pop down for a look and a chat. I've been wanting to catch up with Danny for a while, do we know if he will be there?

I can see that all those flat see-thru fuses are ok.

Then there are these two black square shaped fuses, I'm popping over to supercheap to get an ampmeter and will report back.

Thanks!
