Larger brakes mean it's less likely to heat up quicker meaning you can brake hard and longer without warping rotors. Also stop quick due to braking harder

You can modulate big brakes a lot easier and stop a lot quicker.
Go for a drive in an NA with 6 pots in it and you will see what I mean.

MX5 Plus roll bar going in next - wonder if they'll comment on the improved chassis stiffness (there are some naysayers here).

I have felt the improved "tightness" just by putting a NA8 seatbelt tower brace on a NA6. Imagine a 4pt roll over bar!!
