I don't think they're published on their own web page but they're in the regs for each event. Here's the regs for the next event:

There are some important differences between NSW and Vic regs.

Firstly standard means absolutely bog standard in NSW, including original wheels and tyre sizes. For example NA6s run on 14x5.5 daisies and are not allowed a sports exhaust as they are in Vic.
The second one is that in NSW the allocation of cars and drivers to classes is at the discretion of the club captain rather than just solely dictated by technical compliance to the regs. Essentially Mike Hicks may choose, in the interests of maintaining fair and healthy competition, to promote a car and driver to a class above the one that they would normally comply to. For example Guran is obliged to compete in Clubman class in a bog stock NA6, purely in the interests of promoting healthy competition in both SNA and Clubman. Likewise, before he went the turbo route, Hellmun was placed into the equivalent of Vic's Open class in an NB8B that technically complied to Modified.

Most of these promotions involve the Modified class, which in NSW is intended for lightly modified street cars. Typically the NSW modified class cars are very conservative looking daily drivers. When they start to look more like a car that is primarily prepared for track work then it's likely that they'll get promoted. So if you have aero or upholstery removal or other serious weight reduction or engine or gearbox swaps and the like then technical compliance is not the key determinant. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. Just substitute duck for race car.

It saves us from needing non-value adding elements like audit committees and barristers here. :D

A final point is that there needs to be overlap between MX5 club regs and NSW CAMS Supersprint championship regs because the club actively competes in that arena. You might get a bit more of an idea of our regs if you also read the Supersprint ones at http://www.supersprints.com.au/rules-an ... 20Regs.pdf The main difference between the club and CAMS is that the club has a clear distinction between S-specs and R-specs and forbids R-specs in standard and clubman classes.

Naturally, safety mods are still encouraged in all classes and should not affect classification.

Phil, noted.
I think I'm reasonably safe. I presumed i would be in low power race car class. I don't have turbo's or slicks so it should be pretty straight forward.
