26B sounds pretty good to me!!!

This is probably going to be better than Mazda's R26B from the 787B....mind you it's all aluminium, weighs 7kg less than a Mazda 20B PP and produces no less than 650bhp NA!

We could possibly even get to see it in a long wheel base NC circuit racer next year.

Danny

hahaha...no I don't...wish I did though! Just a rumour that we might actually get to hear one of these beasts in action next year.

It will actually fit, with a few mods.

Hey Dann...who would have thought two years later I'm actually doing this! :P

It most certainly wasn't on my radar back then.

the ultimate mx5 engine

Postby oztrackdays » Sat Sep 21, 2013 10:38 am

I think technically I have it.

Built_BP.jpg

135 rwkw NA 1.8

You can have it for $17,500 even includes the rest of the car.

Now if your question is what is the best engine that can be strapped inside an MX5 chassis
I vote for the LS1 which is why I will be putting one in the EXOCET :D

the engine is not their problem, its dog ugly exterior and shitty interior.

but a bmw twin turbo straight 6 would be awesome.

or an s56 3.2
98 evo gold - rotrexed and loving it.

Supercharged 86 engine???

Bullet have developed their own 86 supercharger (which I'm trying to convince a mate to install BEFORE waiting out his warranty period - 2 years left; that's an eternity).

I'm betting on an LS engine though.
