How about a mechanically injected 3.0 2-valve Esslinger Pinto?

Mechanical injection is awesome.
Unless you want decent idle, or cruise.......... then it's a bit wanting.

Did the rail with that engine (I think his is 4 litres though) run at Jambo? I spoke to the owner during the week and he indicated he was. Was he there yesterday Kurt?
Cheers,

Re: the ultimate mx5 engine????
Yes it was there Saturday and I think ran one pass Sunday morning? It is in N-A trim at the moment (I couldn't quite understand if they intend to turbo that particular engine at this stage) as they apparently have another rail with a turbo combo already built. The Anderson's have been running those cars in various classes for years now. I didn't realise it was 4 litres but 401hp was the engine dyno figure they mentioned. I am absolutely in love with that donk but then again I do have a soft spot for multi carb or injected grey and red motors.

Nope..nope... nope...and nope.
No boxer, no aurion, no ecoboost or vq35de (which is what I'd like to put in mine)
Also, just looking back at my messages, the motor is actually going in to an NC... or at least an NC based car..
not one of their roadsters.

What about a big motorcycle engine; something that revs to live 14,000RPM?
