Okibi wrote:Solution would be to use the same bolt patten as the jenvey ones, afaik they're the same for 1.6, 1.8.
What would also be cool is a better plenum and bigger throttle body to suit the different jenvey adaptors like these:

The port centre distance is different between 1.6 and 1.8L.

Be carefull with angle grinders people. They are dangerous. I got my hand so this is an open apology to anyone waiting on parts they may be delayed a day or 2. Looks like i just need some stitches.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Its not very bad or big its just deep and minced up. Lost most of a day at work. I should be able to get back into it tomorrow. I hoped to have the above kit completed by tonight along with posting the mazdaspeed throttle body inlets and bovs sold so far.

Hope it's not too bad and there's no tendon or nerve damage.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Agree with being careful with angle grinders, I nicked 2 knuckles on my left hand with a sanding disk last year.
I got away with small cuts that healed into scars, would hate to imagine the result if it was a cutting disk.

Angle grinder and Stanley knife: two most dangerous tools in the toolbox. Hope it's right again soon, Dann.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Would you believe some nutter came in to Bunnings a few weeks ago and was asking for a cutting wheel for timber to fit to his 4 1/2" angle grinder!
