Precautions? sh*t, I used to do straight sessions from Brisbane to Melbourne and back on my own in an mx5. Almost every weekend too. Precautions? I don't know, have a coffee? Check your oil is topped up?

I thought the wife loaned you the X5. Loved the shot of the leprechaun. Amazing though- cool stuff like stopping for a drink and having breakfast and small towns as well.

Stay alert and safe on that last leg then. Sounds like it all worked out well. My wife and I have done a few trips in our old NA and more recently our NB8A and always thoroughly enjoy the drive time...
