I guess we can debate the possible styling all we like but it will be fact in a few days regardless.
The LOW power-mouth on the 3 previous series of MX5s is what makes it look like a sports-car.
The Tomi render looks like the front has been lifted from a Mazda 3.
The red one that follows looks like a more realistic proposition for a sports-car - low and aggressive.
The Ophilus one is obviously just a joke and the blue one with all of the creases is just a stylist's LSD trip.
I trust Mazda to produce something good (although the RX8 always shakes my faith a bit)

Yep, but you'll need to pump the tyres up, looks like it's been sitting in the garage for a few years.

I can see why they've kept it so quiet for so long, I bet no-one was expecting this in terms of styling.
When they said stunning, well.... I'm absolutely stunned....... :|

Just look and see if you think it looks like a Chrysler concept. Then think who owns Chrysler? Who also wants to build it in Hiroshima. Coincidence, I don't think so.

5 stud wheels are wrong for starters. Anyway, only a couple of days to go and then you'll know for sure.

This one looks more like the next Chrysler Crossfire.

Another couple of new render images (yes they have 5 lug nuts) but I think these could be fairly close to the real thing!

24 hours and we will know.......

Here's a post from over on the big forum about the above renders.....

These are two of three renders (other was a profile) shown in internal meetings with the dealer board, marketing and others around the world a long time ago and which were used to show off the final design to global partners. This was before we saw mules testing which explains your five lug wheels.

What you'll see tomorrow is very similar to this.

I like the front more than the rear. Might be the angle, but the arse look too high. But so far these are the best I've seen of all the "ND could look like" photos
MX5 91 NA6 LE completely stock and loving it!

I think the above would be acceptable to most, even though it has a very "heavy/bulky" look compared to the light hand used with the NA & NB styling.
It is very heavy looking at the rear with a lot of bulk carried above the rear wheel arches. I could imagine this would be necessary for a retractable HT.
Fingers crossed.
