Mx5 rear camber
Recently installed coil overs into my 01 mx5.
I want to get rid of the rear camber but the only adjustable arms I can find are eBay ones.
Does any body run these?
Are there other options?

lifting it back up a bit will remove some rear camber....

Just Jap sell rear adjustable upper camber arms. You could use eccentric bushes.

If you cant fix your problem with these two things, then either your car has a serious problem or you have dumped it too low.

How much camber are we talking about here?
My car has Pedders Extreme coils in it & is sitting pretty low. Originally had minimal camber on the rear (Think less than 1 degree) as it was originally set up for street use. Cranked it out for weekend & motor sport use.
I would imagine whatever coils you've got, should have the same level of adjustment.

Cmon guys, everyone knows that when you lower the are of an NA or NB, you gain excessive camber for the street. I had trouble getting my turbo roadie to less than 4 degrees neg on each side at around 110mm pinch weld height.
Eccentrics slip. Few people recommend them.
The ebay/just jap arms have a tendency to break unless you modify them in a specific way. Avoid unless you do your research on how to make them work without snapping in half.
The easiest (and cheapest) way to fix the problem is to slot the mounting point for the knuckle/upright in the upper control arm. Extend it out 5-7mm and bring the top mounting of the rear upright out in the slot. Tighten up the upright at the outer point of the slotted hole and readjust the alignment. Problem solved.

Just Jap arms only issue I have had is nuts coming loose on the adjustment part. Provide you keep an eye on it no problems. I'm thinking of using castle nuts and safety wire.
Eccentric bushes just run a weld bead on the inside before you install the bushes. However to date my upper front eccentric bushes have not moved.
Note my car does more track km than road km.

I'm at 115mm and my alignment guy had no problems setting the camber at the 1.8deg I requested.
100% OEM adjustment, no slotting, cutting, arms or anything.

Buy a lottery ticket... Then post pics of an inclinometer on your rear wheels on a flat surface. Also interested to know what your tow figures were on the rear when you achieved these figures. In my experience this isn't possible unless you're running 13" wheels.

Well if that's the case then I guess my alignment shop must have both lied to me and then printed a fake spec sheet.

They must have more spare time that I thought.

OK, maybe my last post was a bit of a wank - I apologise. But you should know, your experience is not typical. I have pulled many, many mx5s apart and wheel aligned my own cars more times than I can remember in all sorts of configurations. I'm not speaking out my arse here. You don't have to slam to have camber problems in the rear.
Glad to hear your rear arms are working out Magpie - I have been tempted by your experience to buy a set but keep finding other things to spend my money on... And the factory arms are working fine ATM

I do keep a constant eye on the rear camber arms, this was even a warning from Automotive Plus who installed them. My main complaint is that one side gets loose all the time and this needs to be rectified.
The reason why I went the adjustable arms was to get more negative camber (-3.0°) and eccentric bushes were not as quickly available as the arms. I now have a set of rear eccentric bushes so I'm still to decide to go back to the OEM upper arms and run some weld beads inside to stop the possibility of them spinning.
Slightly off topic, but, I have new front lower control arms as well as eccentric bushes to install in the front as well as tie rod ends (part number N021-32-280A tie rod end ball joints from the 1993 LE and 1994-1995 R package) to reduce some of the bump steer.
All I need is my car back
