Adaptronic are great.

I prefer them over Haltech based on my experiences so far. There's a really good tuner at Harvey Bay which will be probably be doing my tune.

Mat Spry is good also, and tunes just about anything

6 speed option for an NA is quite interesting. My ears are now pricked up and I'm listening very closely

Thanks for all the support so far guys.

I wasn't going to update the thread until I had something of value to show, but I have been busy in my spare time stripping down the car. I will hopefully have an update over the next week with some pics.

Yes I will be getting Jenvey’s. I found Competition Systems a couple months ago and have been eyeing off the ITB’s until I had the money to get them. Unfortunately the kit has gone up $300 over the past week or two. I knew it was coming, with the AUD being so weak at the moment. Oh well, nothing I can do about it.

Thanks for the links Matt. I had all the hardware so the top went straight on ;)

Ah good to hear! I can't remember what you said - did you end up ripping the soft top out?

If you pop in to Plus on Saturday and Jason is working he may start my car as it is alive again!

I haven't pulled it out yet because I was too eager to put the hard top on, but it will be coming out for good once I start pulling apart the interior.

Finally got a few hours today to get some work done on the car with a mate :mrgreen:

We pulled PEWII into the shed a few weeks back. This is how it sat when it was first moved in. The head had already been pulled off and currently lives in the boot haha.

Then we got the front up on car stands and the rear on ramps for now until I get more stands. The wheels were removed along with the suspension, control arms, steering rack, hubs, brake calipers, exhaust etc.

Next up was the bonnet, guards, front bar, headlight assemblies, radiator and overflow bottle, wiper fluid bottle, a bunch of wiring and fuse boxes, brake and clutch hard lines, brake master cylinder etc.

And finally, the block!

I have also been trying my best to keep all the bolts I pull off labeled to make it easier when the re-assembly time comes.

And this is how it currently sits (Still need to take out the crossmember).

Next up will be the removal of the interior so I can get to the rest of the wiring and remove the brake booster and clutch master cylinder etc.

Then work my way down towards the rear, to remove the gearbox and the whole rear end like we did with the front.
