NSW Supersprint Championship - round 3
Round 3 of the NSW Supersprint Championship will be run on Sunday 14th June at SMP North Circuit.
At the drivers briefing for round 2 they advised that entries would open later this month, I think on 27th April, with a 1 week window for championship registrants to enter before they start accepting general entries.
So MX-5 club registrants in the championship, please keep a watch for the email advising when entries are open, and get your entry in ASAP.

Will be overseas, which is a Shame the North Circuit is the one that favours Horsepower over talent the most
and I certainly have more of the horses than the talents.

^ Yeh, more horsepower makes that 4/5 kink a bit of a balls check though ;)
Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know what day they were talking about in the briefing. I'll make sure my entry in quickly for this one.

Entry form already out.
Check your emails from Bob.
And of course North Circuit by NSW RRC = Rip Off as per the norm.
$230 entry.
$15 Dorian.
Garage!!!
3% credit card surcharge which is unheard of. Do they think they are an airline or something.
They better be organising the groups well with 120 entries.
I'm sure 20 groups of six would work, but guaranteed that's not what will happen, especially with the open wheelers.
I have a feeling we will end up with 9 from past experience.

Re: NSW Supersprint Championship - round 3
Printed mine off, I'll get it in today.
Pay by direct deposit from your internet banking - no credit card fees at all, and certainly no surcharges. I hadn't realised that inflation had soared to 50%
- the surcharge last time was 'only' 2%?
Stand by for an email about garages ...

I was going to do that, but I thought I would check some of last years forms for NSW RRC.
Their account number is not consistent, so it scared me off.
If you still have last years Round 3 and 7 forms you will see what I mean.
BTW, ARDC charges less for the full GP or Extended track.
South can still run while North is going, so either NSW RRC is making a lot of money or ARDC is ripping them on rental of the track.

I haven't seen an email clarifying the right account number, can someone (with a lot of posts so you are reputable) post the right one?

Re: NSW Supersprint Championship - round 3
So at this stage they think they have 71 entries but they're not sure and Bob Welch is trying to clarify that for them. Hardly any entries are from their own club. Payments are a bit of a mess because they gave the wrong banking details.
Good luck everyone.

Re: NSW Supersprint Championship - round 3
14th June is ages away so I imagine many are holding off. Must admit that I was tempted to boycott this round in protest against the price gouging. But I've decided to take the points and stick with the 30 other MX-5 Club members who've entered so far. One third of the field are MX-5s on a circuit that's anything but MX-5 friendly. Now that's commitment!
