Bilstein shocks.
Hey,
So a friend of mine just bought a himself a nice new NB.
It has the lowered bilstein suspension on it. Rear shocks seem a bit soggy.
Are the shocks on those just normal height shocks and they used lower springs? Or is a different shock entirely?
Cheers.

Re: Bilstein shocks.
The Bilsteins I had on my NB from a NB clubman were higher on the rear than the front with the red Bilsteins springs fitted. Not significantly higher.
So to me, sounds like they may be different.

Re: Bilstein shocks.
Yeah, I finaly found a link. They are a different shock. Mania does them, but they cost only just less than buying coil overs.
So gonna try and find some factory NB suspension to chuck underneath to fix it, plus raise it co's with the lip on it he's scraping everywhere lol.

Re: Bilstein shocks.
I just took off the Bilsteins a few weeks ago and fitted MCA's so these can be sold if you are interested.
I also fave a set of Eibach Sports springs to go with them if you are interested.

Thanks mate, I'll let him know and see what he says. How much are you asking for them?

HKS, That's good to know otherwise. But where did he mention NA? Have I missed something?

Re: Bilstein shocks.
sorry, misread.
saw the stuff at the top about shocks being differnet and assumed NA/NB differences.
re-read and saw it was Billie/normal
my mistake

Re: Bilstein shocks.
I would be looking for $300 for the Bilsteins.

Re: Bilstein shocks.
They are the Bilsteins out of a SE. They had about 96,000 on them in Aug 13 when I got them and I only drive my car on the weekends so have only done 5000 km's on them.
All in good condition. I will post a picture later today.

Re: Bilstein shocks.
These were fitted in my NB8A so I don't think there will be any fit issue.
The ride height Front wheel center to guard is; 335mm
The rear wheel center to guard is; 360mm
These are pics of them as I removed them to fit the MCA suspension I put in.
Please note they currently have Eibach springs fitted that are not included. The springs are the red ones like in the last picture where you can see part of the spring and shocks.
