Well Done Tron. I'm a bit excited for you. The NC is a good choice. Let's have some photos.

Thank you for responses :)

Plans are that the car will be transported this week. Count down is on...

As an official Goose, I can't work out how to upload a photo... I've tried in this response however I'm not seeing it. I had taken photos on iPhone however a message tells me my image pixel is too high. Maybe it's because I'm a junior?

Looking forward to being part of the community. I'll look to join the State MX5 club and mix with fellow minded people. Just like in my Ducati riders group.

Tron :)

Everyday driver just did a special where they drove every MX5 edition back-to-back. Pretty interesting outcomes. In general terms the conclusion was that the NA was the best MX5. The NC was the best 'car' and the ND is great in many ways, but it's so soft in the corners that it's ruined.

Here is a couple of basic photos. I'll shoot more through once it arrives to its new home. Along with progress work...

I must admit, I have not seen many of this metallic blue...

Congrats on the purchase,
When purchasing sway bars, start with the rear (you may find that there is no need for a front bar) and then move to suspension, there are a plethora of options and as such it is a good idea to set a budget and go from there, look at Tokico, Tein and then Ohlins (Expensive), there are a lot of 'bling' suspension units on the market, stay with brands and look at what people here have done.
My first 'Mod' recommendation would be a four wheel alignment followed by a Voodoo shift knob, followed by time in the seat and a weighing of your expectations.
Greg.
P.S. Let us know where you are that people might recommend services.

Just watched this - nice to see an objective view of all models back to back to back to back.

No wonder Danny (MX5+) swapped his suspension practically as soon as he got his ND - I can see them doing a lot of suspension swaps even before warranty periods expire.

Thanks for posting.

Started to watch but kept cutting out as I'm on a train :(

The wheels fitted to the NA are way too big but other than that it is interesting that their comments are in line with my own views.
Seating position too high for taller drivers and a lack of acceleration /torque.
Sort these things out and they are one of the best value for money sports cars available.
IMO and in our current times of nanny controls and electronic wizardry, the NA offers an exceptionally simplistic yet well sorted and reliable drive, without the excessive cost when things go wrong.
Best fang for buck and I'm grateful to own one and be part of our sensational community :)

Haha. If I was I'd probably have better teeth. The word fang was intentional too :)

Indeed. Driving in a brand new ND 2.0 Roadster GT manual to the ferry at Sorrento in the morning to meet the lucky new owner.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

I don't think I have ever seen an NC in that colour - looks terrific.
