My new 2006 NC

Postby chrisb » Sun Mar 13, 2016 9:30 pm

Hi

Started off driving sports cars then moved on to 4wds
Earlier this year I hired a lamborghini.. :D :D :D :D :D
After 15 years with 4wds I thought stuff this, sports cars are much more fun
This car is heaps of fun, its done 200k

What doesnt work

Battery was stuffed so I got a new one... :?

Side mirrors are intermittent, but I managed to adjust them, now I dont care how broken it is
Seat belts dont retract, working on them now
Radio left side speaker is burnt out, needs replacing
Key FOB is completely stuffed, needs replacement, no keyless entry
It also thinks someone is sitting in the passengers seat all the time

Start a thread in the garage section so we can watch the progress.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Welcome Chris!
Good photo - it looks like it had a late night or a bit hung-over.
Was battery the original? If so, it was well past use-by.
All the other stuff is minor. My Son's Mazda 3 plays games with seat-belt warning tone. Just do the passenger seat belt up.
You don't need speakers - I can't hear the CD/radio for wind/road noise anyhow.
Keyless entry is a wank. I never use mine.
Enjoy!

No idea if the battery was original, it was white and the brand was lion??? some brand i never hear of.

I fixed the passenger sensor

Passengers need speakers they arent happy with wind noise and engine music

My key fob is so very stuffed, I dont think itll last long
